Inspect a complete official roadbook example alongside a worked teaching page. Practise page continuity, reference points and official amendments.
Official example pages
FIA standard documents, 23 June 2026, pages 114–115. These are official layout examples; motorcycle waypoint rules remain governed by FIM and the event.

Read the section identity, units and page continuity first. In the official example, the final “Next” interval continues onto the following page. It is not a new section or an instruction to reset.

Exercise amendment 01: the DZ at row 4 is now limited to 30 km/h. Confirm the correct section and row before applying it.
The example book still shows its original value.
Equipment transfer checklist
Independent wheel trip
Calibrate using its manufacturer procedure. Set the current section reference. Correct total only at a positively identified point; reset partial at the reference required by the chosen workflow.
Organiser NAV-GPS
Confirm the event device procedure, active waypoint and official roadbook updates. Do not assume wheel-trip correction and reset behaviour applies. Opening guidance is not arrival at the diagram.
Before practical training
Practise scroll, total correction, partial reset and safe pause while stationary. Confirm the instructor’s route and recovery procedure, then use a short supervised route with unfamiliar instructions.
